Steph was incredible with my 2-year-old Border Collie, Clover. She struggled with reactivity: barking and lunging at cars, joggers, and other dogs, chasing wildlife, and trying to greet everyone who passed. After trying so many different training techniques online, and a bad experience with another trainer, I was at a loss. But Steph was amazing from the start. She listened to my concerns without judgement and used only positive, reward-based methods

I was having so much trouble with my dog having accidents in the house, being reactive to dogs and people on walks and through the apt hallways, and chasing after my cats. He was really overwhelmed in puppy classes and just humped me the whole time so I didn’t feel that I got much from it. The money was worth it for us and it was tailored to our lifestyle and my dog’s needs.

We worked with Marilyn to help our 2 year old German Shepherd rescue, Link. He was a stray and reactive with other dogs and people. Since we worked with Marilyn, Link has become a much more confident, calm, and less anxious dog. More people are getting to see the Link that we love. Marilyn covered all of our concerns and taught us the best ways to help Link. She was patient and very knowledgeable. After we finished lessons with her, we felt we had the skills to keep training Link.

When my pup Ripley and I moved to Guelph her reactivity towards people and other dogs was at an all-time high, it was not only stressful but incredibly isolating. Marilyn gave us new strategies to try and guided us through our journey. Ripley has now become an absolute joy to work with, she is so much calmer and trusting out in the world while still being her energetic self. I’m so grateful for all the time Marilyn spent with us and cannot say enough good things.
