Ann Danner

Your Instructor, Coach, & Guidance Councelor

Ann guides you and your dog to success with proven, science-based, positive reinforcement dog training methods. This means no shock or prong collars.

You and your dog learn new skills and build your relationship – without the negative fallout from harsher methods that many ‘quick fix’ trainers use.

She has the same compassion with her human students as she does with her canine ones, helping them to be more effective, kind and connected dog-parents.

Credentials/Certifications: CPDT-KA, ABC-DT, Fear Free, AKC Evaluator

Professional Memberships: APDT, PPG, Thrive!

A US Navy veteran and former Federal employee, Ann brings a breadth of experience and insight to her training. She realized her calling years ago when she was working HR issues with a fellow veteran who introduced her to his service dog.

The rest, as they say, is history: she volunteered, got paid to work the best job ever, completed certifications, started an LLC and made that calling her full-time passion.

Always thirsty for more knowledge about dogs and training, Ann regularly participates in professional development workshops, conferences and classes.

In order to maintain this certification, CPDT-KA trainers must earn 36 hours of continuing education and recertify every three years.

  • ABC-DT – Graduate of Animal Behavior College’s Dog Training

A year-long course of study and training with a mentor.

  • APDT – Professional Member, Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
All members must adhere to non-aversive training methods and aspire toward Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive (LIMA) strategies to modify behavior and train.

She had as much patience with us as she did with our puppies."

We love our planet as much as we love dogs.

To minimize our carbon footprint, we walk to clients when possible, limit drive zones, offer remote lessons and give some of our proceeds towards removing some of the carbon footprint we create.
